Christine A. Murphy, Esq. is an attorney in the firm Goodman, Shapiro & Lombardi, LLC of Dedham, Mass., and Lincoln, RI. She brings nearly two decades of experience in real estate law, working in the areas of condominiums and homeowner’s associations, foreclosures, bankruptcies and civil litigation. She has extensive experience representing clients in all aspects of foreclosure, has handled complex real estate litigation matters and is licensed to practice law in both state and federal courts in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and state court in New Hampshire.
Prior to joining GSL, Christine represented a wide variety of lending institutions in real estate and foreclosure-related litigation. Throughout her career as a litigator, she has obtained several important decisions in Superior Court, Bankruptcy Court and the Appeals Court. Most notably, Equity One, Inc. v. Estate of Williams, 72 Mass. App. Ct. 1108 (Appeals Court 2008).
Early in her career, Christine also served as an Assistant District Attorney gaining substantial courtroom experience in the process. She presently serves as a faculty member of the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Bankruptcy Law Program, as well as past Co-Chair of the MCLE Creditors’ & Consumers’ Rights and Remedies Program.
Christine earned her J.D. from Roger Williams University Law School and her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Communications from Bridgewater State College.
