Profile

Pamela M. Jonah is a 1994 cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School, and a 1991 summa cum laude graduate of Suffolk University School of Management where she graduated valedictorian of her class. Attorney Jonah was admitted to practice in Massachusetts in 1994 and has experience in District, Superior Courts, as well as the District Court of Appeals and Massachusetts Appeals Court. She was also admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court in 2004.

Prior to joining the firm of Goodman, Shapiro & Lombardi, LLC in March of 2009 Attorney Jonah was a sole practitioner with her own firm concentrating in the areas of Real Estate, Business Matters, Domestic Relations, Estate Planning and Administration as well as Personal Injury. At Goodman, Shapiro & Lombardi, LLC Attorney Jonah handles litigation on behalf of and offers advice to Condominium Associations. She also continues to represent individuals and families in their Domestic Relations matters, such as Divorce, Modification, Contempt and Child Support issues as well as Estate Planning and Administration and Personal Injury Matters.

Attorney Jonah is responsible for setting legal precedent, helping to create a new cause of action in Massachusetts known as "AIDS Phobia" (the fear of contracting AIDS from contact with foreign instruments) by successfully arguing a case before the District Court of Appeals.

In addition to her legal experience Attorney Jonah served a two year term in Public Office during 1999-2001 when she was elected the first District Four Councilor under the new Mayor/Council form of government in the Town of Weymouth. She was appointed the Chairwoman of the Ordinance Committee responsible for transferring 375 years accumulated Town By-Laws into newly formed Ordinances. During her term she also served as a member of the Budget Finance; Economic Development; Education and Senior Citizens Committee.
