Profile

Mary Joy Spencer is an award-winning scholar, legal writer, and editor. Ms. Spencer is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and the U.S. District Court, District of Rhode Island. She earned her J.D. from Roger Williams University with honors, and her undergraduate degree in English from Providence College, magna cum laude. While a law school student, Ms. Spencer interned at the Rhode Island Department of the Attorney General in the Juvenile Prosecution Unit. Ms. Spencer is a published author and poet.
